Vasectomy is a minor surgical procedure for birth control. It is the most common permanent solution men and couples choose to avoid pregnancy.
Vasectomy involves blocking the passage of sperm from the testes. Sperm makes up only a small portion of semen. Men do not see any difference to the appearance of ejaculated fluid.
Vasectomy is safe, effective and often reversible but it is important you are confident you want permanent contraception.
